Reflection Week 11
Maths: In maths we went down to the mat with Mrs Bryant, We had to do equation like this.
363 x 3
(300 + 60 + 3) x 3
300 x 3 = 900
60 x 3 = 180
3 x 3 = 9
900 + 180 + 9 = 1089
We also did Mathletics and games; area, risk and lots of other options. # i love maths it's fun
Reading: In reading we did some weekly spelling brain bank.
Brain bank is when you read a book and answer the questions.
Games is when you pick one of the activity's and then you play it.
Writing: In writing we published our simile writing ( it's on the wall go read now please 😠) We also did proofreading and editing it was a peace about flamingos we had to read it then edit it, I like editing so i'm with it.
What i'm looking ford to next term INQUIRY BECAUSE I LOVED WHAT WE DID THIS TERM SO I'M EXITED TO SEE WHAT WE WILL DO NEXT TERM.

Integrity games
Integrity games
Our game was called speed run lots of kids liked it this is how it goes>SPEED RUN ( click to view.)
most of the kids found it fun but some got confused about the tag the tagger bit. I found it hard to control the kids now I know how teachers feel. 😐 It was a sunny day all the kids huffing and puffing sounded like they needed a drink desperately. I now know that I need to improve on the instructions like maybe the runners don't tag the taggers. Instead when you get tagged you stand still then when they call the next colour the runners can crawl under you and you are free.

Bike Trip
Bike Trip
Week 7 we went on a awesome bike trip some people went hiking.
We went the easy bike track first I liked it but it was to easy.
The track was muddy from the last couple of days but that doesn't mean we couldn't go on the tracks.
Next we went on the not so easy bike track it was a challenge for me so I liked it. Some of the track was muddy there was 2 rivers as well. it was sunny but shady as well there was steep hills and long drops.
Then we got to choose to do the hard track or the not so easy track again I chose the not so easy track because the not so easy was a challenge for me.😃

Last week we did assembly. In assembly room 8 showed tempo. [fast and slow] I felt a bit sceard when we started but at the end i felt realy good. We used the rarko sticks our speaker was Keria and
our conductor was Amy. After we did that we did a mixed rythm. Then we shared our flax flowers. i felt realy good when everyone claped. I felt a nervous when we used the rarko sticks bet felt super good when everyone claped. Then it was time for the katakiea. THE END

My Reflection Week 10
My Reflection Week 10
Maths in maths we went down to mat with Mrs Bryant and did crazy questions like 136 x 3 I was so hard. But essay at the end. I felt ok cuse i did some at home to refresh my brain because I knew that we were gonna do some more with Mrs Bryant.
Reading in Reading we did book talk and proofreading and editing. I finally got how to proofread and edit properly you were supposed to find ten mistakes but i found 11! In book talk i shared diary of a minecraft zombie book 3. I got some great ideas of books i should read next. Like harry potter and the chamber of secrets lucky i’m reading the first one.
Writing in writing we have been making a simile story I've published mine and it’s on the wall. ?

Room 9 we have been going around pirongia and learning about the treaty of Waitangi we also had to make a video about the treaty of Waitangi. I was annoyed because we didn’t get to finish our video. Room 10 in room 10 we made a integrity game and had to teach it to the little kids.

Treaty of Waitangi : With Mrs Starthen we learnt about the treaty of Waitangi and had to make a video about the treaty of Waitangi. Ours didn't go so well because the battery ran out and we hadn't finished ours.😢 After all I did learn alot about the treaty of Waitangia.
